Shipping policy

We usually ship everything via Canada Post, we may ship UPS depending the length of the box, speed and price. Please contact us at hayden@knifemakerdirect.ca for exceptions. If you need a full 4 foot bar to make a sword or something please make a note in the cart and it will ship UPS. If you order just liners or other thin items they can be sent in an envelope and shipping will be refunded to actual, as the website won't let me print labels for envelopes. 

If shipping is high you will be refunded in cash or given reward points, to redeem coupons off your next order. 

Local pick up in Calgary can be arranged. If you live in my neighborhood I'll drop it off myself. We are not a brick and mortar store! Please contact to make arrangements to pick up and skip on shipping costs.

*Steel Cutting Note*

*Steel is sold by the foot, bars come in 4 foot lengths (CPM steels are 3 foot) Please provide cutting instructions in the shopping cart left of the total price in the box "Special instructions for seller". Anything over 3 feet will cost extra for shipping and will be cut. If you do not provide specific cutting instructions and order more then 4 feet, bars will be cut in half. CPM steels will come in uncut 3 foot lengths if full bars are ordered (3,6,9 feet etc.) Example: An order of 8 feet of 1095 will result in four 2 foot bars. 7 foot order will have two 2 footers and a 3 footer.
